Contrived Web Bugs, page 2/2
This page contains two Web bugs.

The first one is immediately at the end of this sentence, after the period. The HTML code it uses is:

<img src="http://www.cs.uml.edu/~dm/bugnosis-tools/3x3trans.gif" height=1 width=1>

The second Web bug is placed below this paragraph using a little bit of JavaScript code that runs after the main page has finished loading.

If Bugnosis doesn't detect these images, it's probably because some other software on your system is blocking the cookies associated with them.  If Bugnosis doesn't see the cookie, it doesn't count the images as Web bugs.  In effect, you can use Bugnosis to test how effective your cookie blocker is.
